Heads of large heavily scented red-pink flowers in summer after the leaves, large bulbs, 50cm. Winter leafer with the leaves apparently (and somewhat embarrassingly) hugging the ground. Conservatory. Synonym Brunsvigia coranica. . Bob's score = 8.5 RHS Hardiness Rating: H3 .

Good large scented pink flowers in crowded onion-like heads, rosettes of foliage, 40cm. Winter grower needing protection. Southern and Eastern Africa. Each leaf lasts 2 years and withers after the first only to regrow. Syn.Cybistetes longifolia. RHS Hardiness Rating: H2 .
