Saxifragaceae

Big pale glaucous leaves preceded by early heads of white flowers from pink buds - lovely as they appear from the ground Feb-Apr. 1m but takes a few years to get this big, moistish shade. It sounds very "Port Arthur". . Bob's score = 7

Bold feathery foliage which takes on red colours from midsummer onwards, white flowers Apr-May, 45cm. Also known as 'Crimson Fans'. No lime, part shade. . Bob's score = 5 RHS Hardiness Rating: H6 .
